Billing & Tax Terms

BridgeScale uses flexible commercial arrangements because different clients may use different combinations of Amazon management, project work, and 3PL/FBA logistics services.

Effective date: September 19, 2026   ·   Contact: info@bridgescale.net   ·   BridgeScale is based in Florida, United States.

1. Pricing and commercial arrangements

Pricing may be structured as a recurring retainer, fixed project fee, hourly or usage-based fee, 3PL handling/storage charge, pass-through expense, deposit, approved purchase order, or another written arrangement agreed by BridgeScale and the client. The applicable order, proposal, statement of work, invoice, or account record will identify the commercial terms for a particular engagement.

2. Payment verification

BridgeScale may require billing verification before service access is enabled. A portal status such as "Billing Verified" means BridgeScale has administratively approved the client's billing arrangement. It does not necessarily mean that every future invoice has been paid or that a particular payment processor has settled a transaction.

3. Invoices and due dates

Invoices will state the amount due and applicable due date. Clients must pay undisputed amounts according to the invoice or applicable service agreement. BridgeScale may suspend new work or service access for overdue amounts as permitted by the governing agreement.

4. Taxes

BridgeScale is based in Florida. Fees are exclusive of sales, use, discretionary surtax, excise, or similar transaction taxes unless an invoice expressly states otherwise. BridgeScale will add and collect taxes when the transaction is taxable and BridgeScale is legally required to collect them.

Important: Florida does not automatically impose sales tax on every professional or business service. Taxability can depend on the type of service, whether tangible property or taxable services are involved, where goods or services are delivered, the customer's location, and other sourcing or nexus rules. For that reason, BridgeScale invoices should apply tax only when required rather than automatically adding a fixed Florida percentage to every service.

The client is responsible for taxes, duties, customs charges, import fees, government assessments, or similar amounts that BridgeScale is not legally required to collect, except taxes imposed on BridgeScale's net income.

5. 3PL, FBA, freight, and pass-through costs

For warehousing, FBA preparation, labeling, packaging, shipment creation, forwarding, storage, carrier services, or similar logistics work, the client may be responsible for separately stated materials, carrier charges, Amazon fees, duties, customs charges, disposal costs, special handling, storage, or other approved pass-through expenses. Tax treatment may differ depending on the item or service charged.

6. Payment methods

BridgeScale may accept payment by one or more methods communicated on an invoice or through the client portal. BridgeScale will not represent that a payment method is available until that method has been activated for the client's account.

7. Disputes and credits

Clients should report invoice questions promptly. Refunds, credits, cancellations, or adjustments are determined under the applicable Service Agreement, statement of work, invoice terms, and the nature of work already performed or costs already incurred.
